Our Mission

The mission of Carolina Voyager Charter School is to create resilient learners and empathetic citizens by fostering, supporting, and promoting excellence in learning in an engaging, technology rich environment balanced with the social and emotional development of the 21st century student.

As a public charter school, we set our standards high. One of our goals is that our student body to closely mirror the diverse demographics of the Charleston area. Currently, Voyager’s demographic reflects the the neighborhoods that surround our school.

Voyager continues to participate in the CCSD’s School Choice lottery and there are no admissions tests or other special requirements to join our school, as long as we have an open seat.  Once all seats are full, we pull from the waitlist generated by the lottery.

Carolina Voyager Charter School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

The Future of Carolina Voyager

Carolina Voyager Charter School serves young explorers in Kindergarten through grade 8. The school will implement national best practices of technology learning with teacher-led instruction in a school culture that nurtures social and emotional learning needed for students’ 21st century journey.

On new campus will be located at the corner of Bees Ferry Road and Blue Water Way in West Ashley.  We hope to break ground Spring of 2023. Check out our public Facebook Page for the latest updates.  www.facebook.com/CarolinaVoyagerCharterSchool/
