I’m embarrassed to admit that I knew that today was Justin Bieber’s birthday (I heard on the radio on the drive in today). Anyway, we played and danced to “Baby” during Funky Friday this morning. One of my 4th graders went home this afternoon and told her Mom that she had no idea who I was talking about. Okay, I could understand her not knowing the Grateful Dead or Led Zeppelin, but Justin Bieber? You know you are getting old when…. By the way, it’s great to have so many parents join us each week to celebrate and dance with their kids at Funky Friday. All parents (and younger siblings) are invited. We usually kick off at 8:05 a.m. Come on out. It’s a blast.
Kerri and I are staying home this weekend with me hoping the rain holds off to get in a round of golf tomorrow. I know, shocker, right? God bless my poor wife.
My lawn is starting to turn green. While I am anxious for consistently warmer weather, I’m certainly not looking forward to weekly grass cutting. Speaking of warm weather, have you looked at the forecast for this week? Good thing I didn’t put away the winter coat yet! While I should have moved farther south, I’m so happy to be here with you all.
Short and sweet this week… I hope everyone has a great weekend and we’ll see you in the car loop Monday morning.
