College of Charleston STEM Field Trip
Our third, fourth, fifth and sixth graders attended a field trip today to the College of Charleston to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.  They also got to see the Lady Cougars take on the William and Mary Tribe in a basketball game.  The kids had a great time.  Surrounded by students from across Charleston County, our children stood out for their enthusiastic participation and exemplary behavior.   Our bus drivers also commented on how well behaved and polite our children were on the trip.

Thanks to everyone who chaperoned today’s trip.  It was great to have so many Dads in attendance.  You can check out some pictures from today’s trip on our Facebook page.

Hurricane Make Up Day
Reminder – Carolina Voyager will be open on President’s Day, Monday, February 18th to make up a school day missed because of the hurricanes.

Kerri and I are heading up to Myrtle Beach this weekend to visit my parents.  It’s a shame the weather is cooling off for the next few days.   I’ve gotten used to the 70+ degree days that we enjoyed this week.  At least it looks like winter may be gone until next year.  It’s snowing in Texas today!   Better them than us….

I hope everyone has a great weekend and I’ll see you in the car loop on Monday.
